End-Of-Life Care and Pet Loss Support

Does your best friend suffer from a chronic illness that is diminishing his or her quality of life? Are you concerned that your elderly pet is in too much pain? Are you struggling to care for your terminally ill pet?

As pet parents, we’d all love to see our companions live as long as we do. Consequently, it’s important that we take appropriate measures to make sure their final days are spent as happily and painlessly as possible.

The end-of-life services at Animal Care Hospital are designed to do just that. We also understand that as difficult as it is to say goodbye to your best friend, deciding when to do so is even harder. Our compassionate staff members will be there to explain your options and help you make those tough decisions.

At Animal Care Hospital, we want you to know that when that time comes, we’ll be right by your side. As pet owners ourselves, we have a unique understanding of the special bond that is shared between humans and their pets, and we are here to help you during this period of sadness and grief. We will work closely with you to answer any questions you may have and to provide you with all the information you need to make the best decisions regarding your pet’s final days.

Medical Care

No matter how ill your pet may be, there is no reason for him or her to suffer. Our veterinarians can provide a wide range of medical treatments and pain management to ensure that your companion remains as comfortable as possible.

Our pets become a part of our family, and as such, deciding when it’s time to let them go is a difficult and emotional decision. At Animal Care Hospital, we understand how hard that can be.  We, too, had to make the difficult choice to let go of a best friend, and we’ve experienced the pain and grief of those final moments.Rest assured that your pet will be treated with the utmost compassion and given the opportunity to cross the Rainbow Bridge with peace and dignity.

When you are ready, you are welcome to take your pet home for private burial.  If you prefer, Animal Care Hospital can arrange either private (ashes will be returned to you) or communal (ashes will not be returned) cremation for your companion.
